Here at Benmar, our mission is to help homeowners to find new ways to enjoy their homes and fall in love with the outdoors again. We provide high quality, custom products to clients in the central Illinois area including Springfield, Chatham, Rochester, Sherman, Lincoln, Jacksonville, and the surrounding areas. We offer Sunrooms, Screenrooms, Awnings, Patio Covers, Pergolas, Drop Shades, Solar Shades, Motorized Screens, Horizontal Shades, Retractable Canopies, Tension Shades, Decks and Railings, and our vendors have been carefully selected based on their quality, pricing, and reliability.
Benmar has been a family owned and operated business since 1963. George Coontz Jr. took over for Brad Gubin when he retired in 2017. George grew up in the Springfield area and has been in the construction and home improvement business his entire life, working with his father, George Sr., at his business The Organized Home. George resides in Springfield with his wife and two children.
At Benmar Sunrooms, we have our own team of professional installers, and guarantee all labor and installation for one year. Our installers do quality work, are reliable, and leave their job sites clean and tidy. We insure all staff, so customers can have peace of mind in pursuing home projects. We hold ourselves and our employees to high standards. Our customers are our top priority!

Our showroom is located at 2601 Chuckwagon Drive in Springfield Illinois. We share a building with The Organized Home, which is conveniently located in Prairie Crossing, next to Meijer. Showroom hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm. We also do free in-home consultations and estimates by appointment.
